DCI Sign-Ups

If your child is marching this season, please fill out the DCI Sign-up form.  What is DCI?  DCI is the Drum Corps International, known as the Marching Music's Major League.  You can read more about them at their website.  Attending DCI is mandatory for anyone marching.  The kids will get to see the pros do it and always leave excited for their own marching season!

Family and Friends are encouraged to join. Kids will ride the bus and we may have some seats for adults but you may need to carpool and drive over if we run out of room.  Let Mr. Blocker know if you're willing to be an 'official' chaperone or if you'd like to ride the bus.  Money is due by Tuesday, June 20, 2017.

There are two types of tickets:
  • Premium Reserve Seating - $40/ticket
  • General Admission - $25/ticket

Meet at HHS at 4:30PM (Bring money for concessions!)
 
This show is non-refundable and if inclement weather occurs; cancellation of event is possible.  
Highland Band Boosters are not liable for cancellation (safety reasons/DCI policy).

Kankakee Valley ~ Competition Week

First all of THANK YOU to those that came out to support the band this past weekend at our festival. It was a success. Now onto this week it is pretty busy with the homecoming football game, competition and the dance. Below is from Mr. Blocker regarding the schedule for those events, Also we are still needing some help with feeding the kids and pit crew. Perfect time to help if your kid is wanting to go to homecoming you will need to be at the competition to pick your child up in order for your child to go to the dance.
